Our technology
At the core of our application lies an end-to-end audio-visual system that enables users to communicate with an AI system via natural language. By utilizing the latest advancements in speech recognition (speech-to-text) and speech synthesis (text-to-speech) technologies offered by Azure Cognitive Services, we have been able to create a seamless conversational experience for users. The OpenAI API allows us to generate intelligent responses to user requests using the latest GPT model (currently in use: GPT-4o). This technology facilitates a natural, uninterrupted conversation between the user and the avatar.
Our technology in a nutshell:
- Realistic characters, based on Epic’s metahuman technology. Our avatars can be programmed to possess unique personalities and responses, which makes the conversations with them more engaging and interactive.
- Enhanced AI, based on GPT with access to the internet. We don’t rely exclusively on the training data from the GPT Large Language Models. Since there is a cut-off date, current information and events would not be included in the AI knowledge base. By giving our characters access to the internet, we drastically increase the accuracy and reliability of answers.
- Low latency in responses. A conversation with an AI-powered avatar should feel as natural as possible. Decreasing the latency in responses is critical. Our system is based on almost instantaneous streaming of audio and animation, decreasing the response latency to a minimum.
- Need-oriented implementation. Deployment either to a specific URL (customizable for “Business” and “Business Plus” tier customers), or embed it in your own website via an iframe code snippet.
- Secure and certified services, where your data is safe. We use certified third-party cloud services. Your voice and audio data are not saved and immediately deleted. All conversation transcriptions are not used for any AI training or other purposes, and are automatically deleted after a short period of time, or upon user request.
- Live streaming. You can use Aimee on any internet-capable device. The application is streamed to a browser, so you can use it on mobile devices, tablets, computers or digital signage screens.

The team behind AccessPoint AI
Steffen Schreiber is co-founder of AccessPoint AI and the undisputed authority on all things programming and technology.
Steffen holds a PhD in theoretical physics and has more than 20 years of experience in the development and programming of applications and infrastructures. He is proficient in several programming languages, including C++, Javascript, PHP, Python and web development frameworks like Vue.js. At AccessPoint AI Steffen is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s technical strategy.
Steffen is also co-founder of Tritos Design, a communication strategy company based in Germany.
Rudi Witt is co-founder of AccessPoint AI and the creative force within the agency.
Rudi holds a PhD in economics and has 10 years of experience in the creative industry. Among others, he has worked as a scientist, senior consultant, managing director and senior artist at different institutions and companies. At AccessPoint AI Rudi is involved in the strategic and creative issues every step of the way, ensuring that the creative direction and execution are in line with the company’s vision.
Rudi is also the creator of RealtimeGraphX, a brand that specializes in the creation of digital humans, and is the author of a widely recognized online course on creating AAA characters for Unreal Engine.
